Adaptive Security(opens in a new tab) is an AI-native cybersecurity company focused on protecting organizations from modern human-layer threats such as phishing, social engineering, and deepfake-driven impersonation. The platform uses AI to simulate real-world attacks across email, voice, SMS, and video channels, helping companies train employees through realistic, adaptive scenarios. It also provides behavioral risk scoring and targeted security awareness training to reduce organizational exposure to evolving AI-powered cyber threats.
The Cyversity(opens in a new tab) South Florida chapter is essentially the local extension of Cyversity’s national mission focused on building a more diverse cybersecurity workforce and bringing together cybersecurity professionals, students, and organizations across Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Palm Beach to build community and talent pipelines.
Cyversity itself (formerly the International Consortium of Minority Cybersecurity Professionals) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to increase representation of women, veterans, and underrepresented groups in cybersecurity through training, mentorship, scholarships, and career development programs.
She Leads Tech(opens in a new tab) initiative is a global program designed to increase the representation, visibility, and advancement of women in technology-related fields, especially cybersecurity, IT audit, governance, and risk management.
She Leads Tech is not a single event, but a multi-faceted initiative that ISACA runs through its chapters worldwide. Its core goal is to close the gender gap in tech leadership by supporting women at every stage of their careers.
The core focus areas typically centers on:
- Mentorship & Sponsorship - Connecting women in early and mid-career stages with senior leaders in cybersecurity, IT audit, and governance roles.
- Leadership Development - Programs, workshops, and speaking opportunities designed to build confidence, executive presence, and technical leadership skills.
- Community Building - Local ISACA chapters host She Leads Tech events such as breakfasts, panels, and networking sessions that bring together women and allies in the tech ecosystem.
- Visibility & Storytelling - Highlighting women leaders in cybersecurity and IT through speaking platforms, interviews, and recognition programs.
The program is as much about pipeline development as it is about retention and advancement into leadership roles. She Leads Tech is part of ISACA’s broader ecosystem of professional development and aligns with its mission around trust in technology systems, governance, and cybersecurity leadership, but with a specific lens on equity and leadership representation.
