o	As a member of the Guest Services Team, you will be an essential part of the guest experience and help build memories that last a lifetime. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to ushering, concourse customer service, and greeter. Guest Services Event Staff 

Position Summary
The Runner assists the Suite Attendants & Servers in providing suites guests with a pleasant experience.  The Runner is primarily responsible for preparing and stocking the Pantry with the appropriate product, utensils & supplies. They assist in the set up and execution of preordered food and beverage items as well as delivery of restaurant orders during the event. Following the event, the Runner will ensure the Pantry is cleaned and restocked.

  

The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be able to work events as scheduled per business need. 

 

This role will pay an hourly rate of $15 to $18, plus tips

About the Venue
Oak View Group is the venue manager and food and beverage provider of SoFi Center, a first-of-its-kind venue located in Palm Beach Gardens on the campus of Palm Beach State College. SoFi Center will be the home of the TGL Golf League, founded by Tiger Woods and Rory Mcllroy,  TGL presented by SoFi is a new golf league, combining advanced technology with teams of top players from the PGA TOUR for two-hour weekly competitions in prime time starting in January 2025. The arena will seat about 1,500 people and featured matches between 6 teams for the inaugural season.

Responsibilities
Prior to the start of each event, the runner will prepare the Pantry and ensure product is fully stocked and the area is cleaned. 
Responsible for keeping the restaurant/catering work areas and equipment clean. 
Assists the Suite Attendants and Servers. 
Responsible for setting tables and reservations. 
Assists bartenders in re-stocking or retrieving items needed for the event. 
Assists serving staff in delivering orders to guest’s tables and suites. 
Responsible for answering the phone and taking orders. 
Responsible for keeping the Suite work areas and equipment clean. 
Responsible for assisting in the set up of the Suites and Restaurant.  
Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas. 
Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance. 
Additional duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor and/or OVG management staff for the successful outcome of an event or customer service situation.  
Qualifications
Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.  
Ability to speak, read and write in English. 
Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment. 
Possess valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit based upon your age. 
Excellent customer service skills.

Suite Runner Part Time 

Position Summary
The Concessions Worker will be responsible for greeting guests in a pleasant manner while filling food and beverage orders and collecting payment for purchased food and beverage items. The Concessions Worker will be responsible for preparing simple foods and beverages using company recipes and portion standards. They will assist in the cleanup and breakdown of the concessions area at the end of each event. Must have the ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to cash/credit transactions and product inventory. Concession Workers will also be required to work other Food and Beverage areas when needed. This is a part-time position.

 

This role will pay an hourly rate of $15 to $20.

Ensures quality of food presentation.
Ability to assist in building orders, preparing food, packaging food, and knowledge in all areas of concessions operations.
Responsible for maintaining stock and supply levels and communicating to management of low stock items.
Listening and responding to customer requests or concerns
Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace including but not limited to disposal of garbage & cleaning dishes.
Serve beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages responsibly. Must check guest’s ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for purchase of alcoholic beverages.
Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Must be 18 or over.
Three or more months’ experience in the food service industry preferred.
Previous experience in working with point of sales systems or computers.
Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests
Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.

The Live Events / Gameday Operations Intern will play a major part in supporting the Live
Events / Venue Ops team in advance and during TGL matchdays at the SoFi Center in Palm
Beach Gardens, FL. With a live audience of 1,500 attendees each match, this position will be
critical to ensuring a smooth and enjoyable on-site experience for guests, while also reviewing
sponsor signage and activations for best-in-class staging.
